My main issue with SSR is that every three (3) months, due to sercurity reasons, we change the password to the account used to authentificate on SSR.

after upgrading my SMP to version 7.6 HF7 I can't update the management solution to 2013 R2 SP4 (11.1.4) and the installer to 2013 R2 SP5 via the SMP. I've done the instructions from https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.0000... but I get the error message from the screenshot attached.
Any hints?

I am wondering what protocol is used when doing backup to another network location. We have issues with bandwith and before we go investigate, we would like more insight on how and what is used to transfer the data over network. Lets hope is not p2p....

I am running a Symantec System Recovery 2013 R2 for backing up Windows 7 computers.
My school is using Backup Exec System Recovery 2010 at Windows Server 2008, it can't any backup from last week. I tried reboot the Windows Server, but it still doesn't work! This moring is show up an error message: Win32/Win64 API DeviceIoControl (IOCTL_VSNAP_MAKE_READONLY) failed.
I don't know how to solve it, please anyone has any solution to solve it.

I have had SSR 2011 running for well over a year, backing up to a drobo which is on line all the time, as well as several Buffalo NAS drives which are rotateded daily. This has been working fine until yesterday, when i received a notice that the drobo did not have enough space. When i came in and checked, drobo had about 4TB of free space, which was plenty of space
I updated my Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit) to Windows 10 With SSR 2013 R2 version 11.1.2.54477. Everything except SSR seemed to be working fine - went through several reboots to make sure. However, SSR gave me the expected "can't install licence" error. So I installed the SP4 patch. It told me to reboot but this yielded a fatal "Inaccessible Boot Device

i uses SSR 2013 R2 for backups, i've had a few vesions of backups from a specific job and last night i've made changes to that job.
this morning i discovered that all my history versions were deleted (saw it in the log) !!!
is there a way to bring them back ? there's no space limits in the drive...
please advise

Two months ago, we have opened a case with Veritas for upgrade of symantec management console from 7.1 V2 to 7.6 Version.
Till date they have called us 100 times and every time they will tell that we are collecting the logs and escalating the case to the higher level.
When SSR was under Symantec they were solveing any issue within hours not even days.
I am getting an error deploying the System Recovery Agent to a windows 7 machine. The machine has the firewall turned off, has UAC turned off, is pingable from the system recovery server, and is able to be remote desktop into. The error i am getting is the following:
-Error E0D3EBC0: Cannot Deploy the agent to X.X.X.X
Backup jobs fail after changing network credentials password for the jobs network destination.
After changing the password for the network credentials used for the backup jobs network destination...backup jobs fail.
If we change the password back to what it was jobs run no problem?
The password must be changed every 60 days so we have to resolve this...

We have SSR 2013 r2 installed on our Exchange Server 2010 on Windows Server 2012 r2.
We currently have three volumes on it. One volume for the exchange databases(Y:\), another one for the exchange logs(Z:\) and the last for the system(C:\).
