I have network storage Buffalo Tearastaion connected to windows server 2008 R2 through ISCSI Initiator.

U:/ is not accessible
The parameter is incorrect
I check online for that, I found that I have to run chkdsk /f /u
I added a single 3TB drive with an Adaptec 3805 RAID controller to a Windows Server 2003 x86 server running System Recovery 8.5.
This drive "Drive 1" did not show up under "Drives" so I uninstalled that version and installed SSR 2013.
SSR2013 R2 SP4 every time I run backup it crashes at various percentage. Event Log shows
I have found that some of my backups are listed as UEFI and some as Firmware Independent.
If I try to restore from UEFI it will not do so.
Can someone explain in simple terms what is happening (not a techie).
Thanks
My computer (Windows Vista) does not want to boot from my Custum Recovery Disk. It keeps using the OS on my main drive.
However, not so long ago, the Recovery Disk worked just fine. Why does the computer bypass the DVD Disc
First (and this is probably going to sound foolish), where does this patch get installed?
On the actual desktop that is running SSR, or in the folder (on the server) that was used to perform the original installation?
There is no information in the supplied documentation to indicate just how this is supposed to be installed.
Re: System Recovery Scheduler
This is actually a major omission from the product:
You can currently schedule a backup to begin on a day of the week if it's a WEEKLY backup, but you can't do this with a MONTHLY backup. Why not?
Hi
Due to secuirity issues, we want to disbale VSSADMIN.EXE and BCDEDIT.exe on our servers
Does SSR 2011 uses those two exe's? will i have issues with SSR 2011 after disabling them?
We also use Lights Our Restore - does Lights Out Restore use those files for boot into recovery mode?
Thanks
I'm using SSR 2013 and have 2 remote PCs that I want to backup at different intervals.
PC_A needs to be backed up every Thursday at 12:00
PC_B needs to be backed up daily at 12:00
I create backup jobs for both of these, but these seems to be shared between the 2 PCs.
We need to be able to script the conversion of ssr sv2i files to vmdk, prefereably using powershell. Theres a severe lack of information on this.
We have had a coder look at the sample scripts nad objects and cant find a solution. Anyone able to help ?
Hi,
on our SSR 2013 R2 SP2 server (Windows 2008 R2 64 Bit Server), we get since few days the following error message:
Failed to setup performance counters.
The requested Performance Counter is not a custom counter, it has to be initialized as ReadOnly.
Hi,
first my environment: SSR 2013 R2 SP4 Server, Windows 2012 R2 Standard 64 Bit Server".
The legacy mode for older clients is activated.
I would like to use one license key for the SSR 2013 client version 11.0 and one for SSR 2013 R2 client version 11.1.
I want to completely uninstall SSR 2013, including all past drive links, any and all visible or hidden registry entries; exe, bat, msconfig,...whatever other executables, and then reinstall a completely fresh installation? All using my currently downloaded SSR 2013, registered and "paid for" package?

Hi
We have BE 2014 and SSR 2011 on the same server.
when BE runs, it start the VSS service when backup start. and stop the service when it is finished.
But when SSR runs, it start the VSS service, and doesn't stop it when it is finished creating the image.
I created a support ticket on the 10th of March regarding a problem with the creation of a recovery disk under SSR 2013 fixpack 4.
I am have being pinged by my 5th 'service engineer'.
Each of them follow this procedure :
- Hi, I am x and will be taking over this case. Give me a couple of days to review the case.
- A request by me for an update
Hello all,
While scheduling a backup, I wonder which day SSR considers as first day of a weel?
Thanks for replying
Maybe it is obvious but does Veritas System Recovery write any data to the System Volume Information folder ???
I wanted to better understand the attached system folder and whether or not Veritas is a contributor of files or updated files there???
If files are added there by Veritas which ones? Or which ones are written to??
Need full windows 10 Support for SSR 2013 and successor (of any).
